well, I just about froze to death but I made it home from St. Charles. Hunted Sun. & Mon. 23 degrees & 25MPH wind. Hunted on White river refuge self guided with a friend. Had a great hunt Sun. Killed a mixed bag of teal, gadwall, mallards, widgeon, and 1 hooded merganser. Lots of birds everywhere. Mon. morning still cold but ducks disappeared. Only killed 3 gadwalls and one big fat greenhead. Not much shooting around either. Everything out there is so flooded. water is everywhere. I've hunted there for 3 or 4 years now and never seen it like that. Well hope everybody else had a great weekend.
