What's a strange combination of food that is good to you??????

Here's one......I got this from my Dad.......And, don't knock it till you try it.....

Make yoself a big 'ol Banana Sammich with peanut butter and mayonaise. (On Colonial White bread of course). Then get a piece of fried chicken that has been left over from supper the night before.....

Here is some good eating. Take cornbread right out of the oven and butter it up good. Crumble it up and put in a tall glass. Fill with buttermilk and add 2 or 3 teaspoons of sugar and stir.

a buddy of mine was just up in Lexington, KY and there is a distillery called Buffalo Trace and they make these things called "Buffalo Balls" and its basically a chocolate truffle and the center is filled with their burbon. he said they are good. so it sounds like your concoction is similar.

Anyway I like fried chicken livers dipped in seafood cocktail sauce. Once in a while anyway. Couldn't stand them too often.

And don't knock this one until you've tried it. On the fruit sandwiches already mentioned, like peanut butter/bannana or pineapple, try using Miracle Whip instead of mayo. The vinegar twang goes perfect with those two particular items.

Spoon a few spoonfulls of Peanut Butter in a coffee cup. Pour maple syrup on it. Great snack, and filling too.

Another is take cheese and raisins, and run them through a hand cranked meat grinder. at least 2 times. Then use it as a sandwich spread with mayo or miracle whip. Yummy.
