Anyone have any West Point fishing reports?

I have a club tournament for stripers (if there are any left) and hybrids on West Point on Sunday. Heading down tomorrow to pre-fish. Anyone have any fishing reports?

David, I fished with Doug. He found them on Saturday morning where you recommended. He caught 12 hybrids, all on threadfins.

We fished there on Sunday most of the day. Picked up one 6.2 largemouth, a 4.0 spot and a 16.5 inch hybrid. Nothing to weigh for us.

Mike M. won it (should have taken your first advice). He trolled four u-rigs.....went through a school and picked up 7 at once. Had four fish on one u-rig. Brought the two largest to the weigh in (9.9 lbs). He was fishing in the mud by the lighthouse.

West Point was high, unbelievably muddy and dangerous to run due to all of the "stuff" floating in the water.

But we had a great time. The club furnished ribeyes for dinner on Sat. night. I furnished venison, pheasant and alligator. We ate like kings.
