Thought I'd ask.
I'll be moving back to Atlanta soon and thought about trying to set up some small informal traditional shoots, just something to keep the ole timers on their toes and the newcommers intrested and improving. A day of shooting and barbequeing. Everyone could bring a target and a chunk of meat to throw on the grill. What do ya'll think ?
Any one intrested ?
Jerald

I am DEFINITELY interested. There just isn't much more fun to be had than a group of guys shootin' stumps, 3D's, or whatever and the grillin' sounds good too!

We bought a fixer upper right beside the church on 61 just a few feet north of Nebo Rd. 6928 Villa Rica Hwy. One of the new caution flashers for that intersection is just about in my front yard. Yellow house with green shutters, paved driveway. I have a green chevy truck and a black jeep in the carport. I did get my target put back together and my long bow and some arrows dug out. I got a tracter trailer load of stuff just throwed in the shop, waiting on me to orginize it, that'll take me a few weekends ;)
I have a bunch of stuff to do to the house, but I can always take time to shoot the bows a little.

I know where you are talking about. Thats only about 2 miles from where I grew up. My buddies parents own the gas station and BBQ restruant across the street from you.

Maybe we can get together and shoot in the next couple of weeks. I will give you a little time to unpack and settled in! LOL

I hear ya, that would be a great idea, been talking about that with some of the trad shooters around here. We have a range here at Muzzy south of Cartersville and would love to have some guys come out and shoot with me, I need the participation to make me go out and shoot, just get's too boring shooting by myself. Let me know if ya'll are interested! Mark

Mark, give me the directions, I may just drop by in a week or two. I'll call before I come to make sure you will be there.

I think I will be exiting off I-75 at Emerson unless I should go up further.

Mark I dont live too far from the Muzzy plant. I live in Yorkville. I have been wanting to go to some of the shoots but they are always on Sunday and I cant go. I lead worship at my church so cant make the sunday shoots. Do you guys ever have them on Saturady??

All the shoots are on Sunday this year with Bad to the Bone, but ya'll can come up during the week and shoot on the range if you want. If you come in from Emerson, you will turn on Old Alabame and follow it till it T's at Hwy 61 at the airport. Take a R and go to the next intersection at Hwy 113, turn L and go about 3-4 miles till you come to the passing lane or 3 lane, follow it to the top of the hill and Beasley Rd is the 1st paved rd on the R, turn there and go to the 1st drive on the R and come up to the 2nd building. That's where I'm at. 770-387-9300 durin business hours. Mark

Just got back home, been down at Sea Island all week. I'd love to go up there and shoot some. Sounds like a plan, I've never been there.
Thanks for the "invite" Mark, I look forward to it.
