I ve got a270. winchester model 70. Im looking for a new stock for it but they ask if it is a long action or short action. How do I tell?

I think about the cartridge size.25-06,270,280,30-06,300,etc as long action.308,7mm-08,260,243,22-250,223,222,etc as short action.

If you need a long action walnut wood stock, I have several.. long action, (see list above) do you need an ADL (the one with the internal box mag) or a BDL (the one with the floor plate)?

Rule of thumb...
Long bullet=long action
Short bullet=short action....
Long bullet=long action
Short bullet=short action....
