15 hogs

Dad and I went to our club in WIlkes county today to get a stand off a tree. All I carreid was my 9mm. You guessed it, we came aroung a corner in the road and the woods were full of hogs. We sat in the truck and watched them feed for about 10 minutes. One looked like it would go 250 (my dad's estimate).

You should have stalked them and popped one with that 9mm....A shot to the head would have dropped him graveyard dead!!

I doubled back through the woods. I was crouched in some cover with the closest hog being within 20 yards. A slight breeze blew from my back and bam they were gone before I couild get off a shot.

yep...

They can smell as good if not better then a deer...A lot of times when a deer smells something he stomps his foot and looks around...If a hog smells something out of place he is GONE!!

hog hunt

my brother lives in wilkes co. if you would like to get rid of your hogs let me know. we hunt them with dogs, catch & tie.
