Boy this morning was beautiful morning to be in the woods, just a little touch of fall with the cool winds. A friend and I got out and set up before daylight this morning. We did see a few deer but they were not walking the same trails like they was last Saturday. Did have one fawn come within 5 yards of my tree feeding on acorns. That was the only one that I saw eating on acorns which really surprised me with as many that were on the ground. Maybe next time we will get one.
