Can the vent rib be replaced on a shotgun barrel?

Depends on the gun.
On some older guns, it was milled as part of the barrel.
On most newer guns, the answer is yes, put it is a little pricey as you normally have to reblue the barrel.
If it is a matter of repairing a dent, there are some glue ons that will make it look all better.
