Allatoona crappie

We went from the bank yesterday and didn't catch a single crappie, but we caught 16 bass in about 3 hours. None real big, but about 10 keepers. We didn't keep any, but we had a lot of fun. My 2 and a half year old had a blast reeling them in. Hopefully, the crappie bite will start soon.

Is the bank fishing good around Hwy 20 where the Etowah comes into Allatoona? I've got two boys who would love to catch crappie. Where do you normally go?

I read a report where one guy caught 81 crappie last Wed. (2/9) on Allatoona with half caught trolling jigs and the other half caught jigging over brush.

Certainly won't be long!
