Ok I've only had one for nearly 40 years... Wife that is.. I know many cultures & religions allow multiple wives. I dont believe it is legal in any state even though it does happen. Some middle Eastern countries allow it and mention in the Bible of multiple wives and the need for a brother to marry his widowed sister-in-law...
Whats you thoughts?
Oh.. I couldnt afford more then one even if were moral, legal, accepted practice :bounce:

Hmmmm...40 years...I congratulate you as that is a long time...based on the numbers, you got married when it was generally taught and accepted that marriage still meant something...much like my Mom and Dad whom have been married for 45 years...but even the older marriages are not free from the complacent and apathetic attitude that we see prevailing in society today with regard to matrimony...I guess anything will last if a blind enough eye is turned occasionally and no questions are pondered or asked...
I am probably jaded but in today's world, marriage is a term taken too loosely...I am guilty of complacency and apathy as are 95% of all individuals that are in a marriage today...
I could not imagine trying to pretend that more than one marriage was working...the web would get entirely too tangled...I love my wife and she is all I need, I just do not know how to get back in touch with her on the plateaus upon which real marriages are supposed to exist...the plateaus upon which we once existed together...
I pray about it and I have pain and conviction in my heart about it but the answers never seem to be readily apparent or at least I am too dumb to see and understand them...for that I apologize to her...I guess I let her down although I never meant to do so...

Scripture says when you marry the two become one.So how do you all the sudden not be one and Find another to be one with?
