14 menfolk of my family met for a fishng trip in Darien. We were following the hurricanes and knew that a lot of freshwater would be dumping into the sound. We wound up running out past Egg Island before we found salt. By 10:00 we had not put a keeper of any kind in the boat. Our guide has been fishing that area for 26 years and did not give up. We finally hit paydirt (water) and began to catch a good number of reds, trout and one sheepshead. We wound up with 5 reds in the 22 to 22 & 3/4 and several keeper reds & trout. Everyone on our boat was happy and we will gladly recommend our guide. (PM or e-mail me for info, Woody might not want me to advertise for this guy on the forum). Price for whole day was $240 plus $50 for each extra fisherman. Maximum 4 to the boat. The other boats did not do as well, and olnly one group was not satisfied with their guide.
