took a button head in dekalb cty sunday afternoon I was out of meat so I droped one for the freezer, in dekalb you see a small one you better get it before a car hits it. I let a 4pt walk 2 years ago an saw it on the road dead 2 days later, anyway got some meat

Nothing wrong with that in my opinion.. As you stated you might as well have taken him, since your in Dekalb who knows when he will get hit by a car or the land will get developed. Congrats and good eatin....

last year I was eyeballing a decent 9 point on my parents place in gwinnett. I figured he would be a shooter in another year. well he ended getting hit by a car, and laid to rest in their front yard! :banginghe
