The Starkville Kennel is sure to be hopping this weekend. That's cause Tommy Tuberville and his Tigers from the Plains of Alabama pay a visit. Sylvester Croom will have his Pack playing a game of sic'em and showing their canine teeth, but he ain't got the Dogs to get the job done. Not yet, at least.

The Red Clay Hounds seem to have trouble in the Chicken Coop when they're being followed by high expectations. Lou Holtz is telling his Bosses of the Barnyard that they got a chance to bring an early-season end to Classic City Canine's championship hopes, but I ain't sure the Columbia Cluckers got the gizzard for the job.

General David Cutcliffe's Army of Southern Insurgents will march into Tuscaloosa on Saturday and try to send the Pachyderms to the Elephant Graveyard. You know the Graybacks got plenty of guns and ammo, but it takes some mighty big loads to knock down a Herd the size of the Tuscaloosa Tuskers, and I ain't sure they're packing that kind of ordnance.

The Steers of Renown carry pretty heavy headgear, and they'll need it this weekend when they head to the Fayetteville Hog Form. Houston Nutt's Powerful Pork don't have horns, but they do have tusks, and they're pretty durn sharp. Mack Brown will bring his rendering pot, and he'll heat it up, but that don't mean the fatback will be plentiful.
