anyone here on Woodys have/use a Encore Rifled barrel with either slugs or sabots????
thinking about going ahead and getting me a another barrel for my Encore, and was thinking about just getting a rifled slug barrel....was hoping to get some input such as : 12 or 20 gauge...what slugs/sabots have you tried??? what could I expect for 100 yard accuracy???
any stories of animals taken in the field with these setups would also be appreciated.......
the last deer I killed with a slug was almost 20 years ago with a smooth bore single shot a an old "pumpkin-ball" slug...at about 50 yards, it knocked the deer slam off its feet.....
I'm sure slug-gun hunting has came a long way since then....
