Sighting Rifled Shotgun- Need Help

2007 is my first year hunting!
I got a Remington 870 - 12 gauge, which I have used for rabbit and dove hunting this year.

I recently purchased a rifled barrel with a mounted scope from Mossberg. I got some Winchester sabot slugs 12 gauge, hoping to get a deer- or at least see one!

I went to my local shooting range and tried to sight the gun at 25 yards. Winchester states that the slugs are accurate / zero'd at 100 yards. (my gun shop only has 25 yard range)

After 8-10 shots I finally got it in the red, and I think zero'd in as best as possible.

My question is, can I simply pay a gunsmith or take the shotgun to Dicks or Bass Pro and have it sighted? (I don't really trust my sighting) I also do not think it is that accurate if I was only able to shot at 25 yards vs the recommended 100 yards.

Any help / recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

Go to a WMA range and sight the shotgun for a 100 yards. That is the only way you will know that it is right. Clybel WMA in Jasper has a great range.
