I bought a 26" stainless Heavy Barrel (no sights) in 30-06 for my Encore tonight from Bass Pro. This is not the 28" Pro Hunter Barrel; I wanted the shorter 26" with the Heavy Barrel contour.
Are there any members shooting the Heavy Barrels?
If so, what types of groups are you getting from your rifles?
What handloads, or factory ammo (weight) are you using?
