Was this the 26" heavy barreled stainless laminated model???
If not, then the standard wood/blue versions can be found new at various dealers for less than $500.

Pawn shops are notorious for doubling what they have in a gun. I had one offer me $30 for a $350 muzzle loader once. I would offer them $325 max.
