Has anybody been seeing any Goldfinches? I know some of you see them all year but where I live I only see them in the spring. I have not seen any yet.

Up here in NE GA they hang around all year. In the winter they lose their bright colors. Just now they are starting to brighten up again. We feed them black oil sunflower seed and they love it. People told me they won't eat sunflower seed but the ones at my place sure do!

If they lose there bright color in the winter then they may be here and I don't recognize them.

I saw quite a few in late December and early Jan while deer hunting in Washington C. last season.
Haven't seen any around my house in Newborn yet.
