Thinking of going.When is a good time of the year to go and where?

I haven't fished there in years, but I do remember going to Fish River and tearing into them. I'm sure things have changed since then, but the reds have probally ran up into the rivers looking for deeper water. I hear the Gulp baits work wonders on them. Good luck. Love to go back!

I usually go down there in late March, early April. Dog river is a real hotspot down there. We always catch a mess of flounders and speckle trout. The red fish bite is good also especially around the oyster bars.

Right Now! Fish the Dixie Bar with Mann's strech 25's for Huge Bul Reds.....they are catching them from there all the way to Pensacola Pass..
