Red bass and black drum

Has anybody caught any Reds lately fishing in the saltwater rivers? I have been a few times I have yet to see 1 redbass. I have caught a few trout but the reds have been hiding good.

Also when do the Black Drum start to show up? I wouldn't mind hearing any ideas on catching some drum too. Somebody told me to use half a crab?

Everyone around me says the reds are a little spooky but they are around blacks I have no clue on but the info about the half crab is good for both from what I have been told.
