Does anyone of if a turkey will regrow its tail feathers? I ask because we bought a beautiful gobbler and a hen at the feed store today. We brought them home and were in bliss watching that big tom strut around the yard and even let us pet him. All was great until my black lab busted out of his pin and attacked that gobbler while I chased him around for 15 mintues trying to save the gobblers life. End the end, the bird lived but now has only about 4 tail feathers and is missing large patches of other feather. I was able to catch him and put him in a chicken pin. What a day...
