I think this guy stinks. :bounce:
I've had a trail camera for years, but out of all the years I've had a trail camera, I've only gotten a few pictures of skunks. I regularly see them in fields at night, but for some reason I don't seem to get pictures of them very often.

Was that in GA? I have only seen one here. And that one looks BIG.Picture was taken in Union County. Plenty of skunks around, just don't see many of them until after dark. I'd say this is an average sized one.

That is a good pic. When I was a youngun, they were a common occurence, and had one for a pet for a while. Answered to the name of "Aroma". Up until a few months ago, I hadn`t seen one in several years, but there have been a right smart of them tried to cross the roads down here lately. I`ve seen 8 or10 in the last few weeks.

Good pic. See 3-4 a year here in Washington co. :offtopic: What is the difference between a pole cat and a skunk, which ever ones I'm seeing are really large.

I'm don't think there is a difference. Just two names for the same animal. I've heard some folks call them pole cats my whole life.

Been putting out corn for the turkey here all winter. Been getting a few pictures of deer, coons, and now a skunk along with many, many turkey pictures. Trying to get me a good picture of a strutting turkey. Been getting some, just not the one I'm after. :banginghe

Heyyyy... how did you get my picture?
Actually, here in the mountains, we always called the spotted ones polecats and the striped ones skunks.

Cool picture
He's a biggun too.
We just dont have them hardly anymore
down here , Not that i miss em.
Used to be you couldnt go down any HWY without seeing one about every couple miles dead in the road.
Or head on to your stand and smell one somewhere.
Summer nights ya didnt even want to open your windows
for fresh air, always a skunk around .
