View Full Version : annual 'family and friends' fishing trip

sunday marked the day of the annual 'family and friends' fishing trip. we decided to leave a little later than normal to let the seas lie down a little, and the plan worked out great. it was also the first time my girlfriend, candace, has been fishing offshore. all said and done we all had a great time and caught some nice fish. good times with fabulous friends!

she managed to tame an amberjack or two

and she caught her first grouper, and i got a nice one too. (31.5#)

Boys, let me tell you, she knows turkey, deer and gator hunting as well as any of you!

Brian, you better keep a tight grip on that child!

Sounds like a plan made for a Southern Man!

We're taking the big boat on a "shakedown cruise" to Crooked Island Inlet this Saturday getting ready for the "Brown Bomber" but primarily to catch a Spanish or three. If your not out too long Saturday give me a call and we'll hit Hunt's!
