I was out gathering some cane the other day, and saw bark on a tree in the thicket that looked a whole lot like Osage. :huh:I looked the trees over , no leaves yet to identyfy by, couldn't find any thorns or balls around the base. Finally figured out they were Red Mulberry, so I cut and split em to make a few bows. It'll be next year before they are dry enough to work, but I sure look forward to it. This is some real nice wood.

No tellin' how many bows are in that pile. I heard you had a little help harvesting them too.;)
Good job Ken, looking forward to seeing what they become.

Would you be interested in trading some Ash staves for one piece of yours. I have a bunch of ash staves that have been seasoning since 1999.
