Well with this being opening weekend of Turkey Season and Sabrinas 16th B-Day I decided to take her on a little turkey hunting trip and to see an old friend. Ol' Gundog secured us permission to hunt a 700 acre dairy farm up around Macon. I can only say THANKS for a great time bud, the fun and friendship and hospitality were awesome. Again Thank ol' Fred for allowing us access on his beautifull piece of land for some hunting. Man what a privlige!!
While we never got Sabrina a shot on a bird, we did hear a bunch I mean a bunch were screaming on Sat morning..., saw 4 big ol' Toms at different times and a bunch of hens, deer and assorted wildlife.
Here are a few shots of the place we were allowed to enjoy as well as a proud dad and his little lady. The link at the bottom is a short video of a Tom Strutting across a pond from us with a few hens. We couldn't close the deal on him either...But hey...Thats why it's called Hunting. Now it's back to Swamp hunting!!
