Above My Pond

I live on 14.5 acres with a pond about 75 yards from my house. Started seeing rubs 2 years ago and have seen deer from time to time. Took the time last year to start feeding and planted a food plot on the hill in my pasture.

Put this out on 3/19/08 and got the pics today. It had 180 pics on it in 1 week....

can't wait to see what horns pop out of those bucks....notice the rubbed tree in the pic

yeah...can't wait to see what develops. I got a nice 8 pt on cam further back late last year, but I picked out 2-3 different bucks in these pics. I am really saving them for my 14 year old...he really wants to bag one. He got a nice doe last year on our hill, but we really want to hold off on them and maybe only take 1 nice one a year.

think he is just picking up his leg in each pic. I have a lot more with it on the ground. No sheds as there is 200 acres behind my house where they roam....no one hunts it or is allowed to....probably where the sheds are.

I have seen a few nice bucks there and hopefully we can get one
