Called in a youngster. Dominant birds are henned up on this place.
It was real good though. 8:15.....he came up out of the bottom. Used a Williams crystal pot call I got new this year to close the deal.
9 steps....yep....9 steps. I set up just off a road I expected him to come up, and he did.
Sunlight had just broken through, his colors were beautiful, he was strutting and looking right at me, he just knew there was a hen there.
My heart and breathing were almost uncontrollable. I just knew he could see me breathing!
I raised the gun, he saw me at the last second and raised his head up out of strut to look........BOOM!
JELLYHEAD....load of #5's did the trick.

This is a wing from a bird off the same place last year, looks like Osceolas to me!
Are these pics good enough for the challenge? do they qualify?
