Well, I read on here back in Feb. about bucks dropping their antlers. Someone commented that all bucks will have dropped their antlers by April 10. Wrong. Yesterday, April 29, at around 10:15 am , while turkey hunting, a buddy of mine and I were hunting his tract in Coweta Co. and we jumped three deer. The second one to stand and run was still carrying half of his head gear. Although he was a good buck my friend had passed on this deer once in muzzleloader season and twice during the rut in November. He wanted his son to kill it, but it didn't happen. Maybe next year. Anyway, 19 days after April 10 has passed and he still had half of his head gear. Interesting to me and thought I would let some of you fellows know about it.
