3 Bearded Mountain Bird

This hunt started at 700 feet at 0725 and ended at 2600 feet at 1130. I wont bore you with the details but he got taken away as he was coming to me off the roost and i shadowed him til his hens left and then outclimbed him. He has 2 6 inch beards. and the other is just shy of 13. One spur was 1 1/8, the other broken to about 1/2.

Interesting that his auxiliary beards are below the main and shorter....don't see that often.

Actually he had another starting under the others. It was about 1/2 long.

Hate to say it but I need to see a tape measure on this bird. His long beard looks a lot shorter than my 9 3/4" bird.
