Planted my garden in the same spot for past three years. First year did great, last year I got "Nut Grass" I pulled and hoed like a mad man. This year I sprayed, waited two weeks, sprayed again, waited one week and tilled, waited and sparyed again. Still got weeds galore. Anyone got an answer?

By now you know that you likely posted in the wrong spot! However, I'll take a stab at trying to help for next year. You can disc the area and then cover it all with black plastic for a couple of weeks prior to planting. The heat from the sun on the plastic will cause the nut grass to sprout, but lack of light will kill it. At least that is what I have heard as I have the same problem. I intend to give this a try next year.

There use to be a soil fumigant called Vapam used with the covering of plastic it would kill all seeds and insects. I don't know if its still on the market check with your local Nursery (not Lowes or Home Depot)
