I finally killed my second turkey of my turkey hunting career today. My first was a jake so now i have one to brag about.
Could not let my brother out do me since he got his first last Sat.
Went today after work got there @ 6 started calling @ 6:10, then again @ 6:25, and here he come. He was about 175 yrds out. He strutted all the way to my decoys, and gobbled twice. Finally at 7:01 i had him on the ground. What a RUSH.
He was 20lbs, 10.5 in beard,spurs were 11/8 & 1 1/4 .
First thing my youngest daughter asked was when are we going to eat him. They both love turkey.
