I Don't Understand How Some People Can Kill Birds Every Year and Others Can't?

I have hunted the last 3 years trying to kill a turkey on BFGrant, Cedar Creek, ONForest and club property to no avail.......I know that I was in a slump but nothing I have tried seemed to work. I had located 7 gobblers on BFG last year and two days before the general hunt some guy came down and killed two of them. I should have turned him in, next time I will....I have tried everything I know to try even advice from this and other forums with no success. I have a co-worker that kills turkeys EVERY YEAR WITHOUT FAIL and this past week his son and paw and law went to Cedar Creek twice and killed 3 mature birds this year. I spent a week down there and didn't even call one up. He called up 7 jakes and let them all go.....I just don't understand and am so frustrated with turkey hunting I don't know what to do. I just needed to vent......!
