I have found it but I donot have any pictures and I think it has to be above a certain elevation to grow. I cannot really describe it Id just have to show you. And most people who do find it usually will not tell you where they found it.

used to dig it seasonally in VA years ago when I lived there, fun hobby but very hard "work", just type in ginseng on a search engine and you'll see a good pic somewhere. I've seen some here in GA while doing bear scouting in August.

Also, normally there is a season that you can dig it. May want to double check. Usually in August back home after the red berries were ripe.
