Bobby Cox gets 2000th win

Great game...Bobby Cox gets his 2000th win in the finale at Turner Field for 2004 season. Great way to get the win, especially in a season where everyone and their grandma had written the Braves off as division winners. Only thing sweeter would have been if the Braves could have found a way to clinch it with no. 2000 for Bobby. Oh well, great game...he'll definitely be in Cooperstown one day. :clap:

Now Chipper needs to get a few more RBI's. What if they would have clinched the division, got 2,000 for Bobby, and Chipper got #100, all in the same night! Now that would have been something. Not that doing all those in one season is not. Let's go Chipper!

Cox is a proven for the long haul BB season 'cause he want give up on a player & doesn't constantly change the lineup. But this same characteristic works against him in the postseason where you've got to go with the hot hands in the short series. If you don't believe me just look at the records!
