Madelyn made it very easy for momma to get over it! I was worrying all day about how to break it to my little rooster. It was all for nothing. I told her that we were going to look at some glasses to see if they would help her see things a little better and she simply said, "OK Daddy". They are way more resilient than we sometimes give them credit for being. I kinda felt silly for getting so worked up about it. We went out to eat after getting them and I made sure the waitress told her how cute she was with them on. First thing she asked for this morning was.......................her glasses! I just hope she stays so comfortable with them. Thanks for all the replies, makes me feel a little proud of my "rooster".

She really is a cutie! My wife and I are expecting number four. Got three boys now, maybe we will get our own little rooster! With the advancements they are making in laser eye correction, I doubt she will have to wear those glasses any longer than she wants to! You are blessed!

You ain't met her yet! She is a mess! She gets mad if I don't take her gator hunting with me at night. So far she has been on one gator hunt that resulted in a very large lizard being taken. I give her two more years (6.5) and the deer better look out. A .223 or .243 barrel for the Encore and she is gonna turn church out down here. She has always been my "little rooster". When we had Bryan I didn't think it was fair to change her nickname so it stuck. His is still up for grabs, but it ain't gonna be HEN!
