BBQ is just the shortened version or an acronym of the word barbecue. Webster's traces the etymology of the word barbecue to an American Spanish word barbacoa, which in turn probably came from Taino, the language of the extinct aboriginal Arawakan people of the Greater Antilles and the Bahamas. Webster's traces the word's earliest use in the English language to 1690 (verb form) and 1709 (noun form). (I teach high school English!)

They don't let TECH fans in the door.
You know I've passed that place a "1000 times" over the years........I think I've eaten there "twice".......It's good, don't get me wrong, but they are a little "pricey"......
Anyways, our food at camp is just as good or better than there's is.......
That's mainly because I'm cookin'!!!!!!! :bounce: :bounce:
Aaron....
Don't you start now..... ;) :D :bounce:
You are right though.......As many "UGA" fans that come up and down Hwy. 15, a "TECH" fan is very rare........ :banginghe
