Got this for my birthday yesterday, my daughter bought from an american indian bow maker. I really don't know what it is, I use a long bow to hunt, I see you fling the arrow. My daughter told me the long arrow with the deer bone is for practice and the short arrow with the arrow head is for hunting. How do you fling this thing at a deer and kill it? What is this weapon really called?

These things are a blast to play with. Unfortunately, Georgia has no atlatl season, so all you can hunt with it is non game species. Use heat to straighten that rivercane shaft, and make you up a couple of spares, and go have yourself some fun!
