We have seen the beast, the beast is dead, long live the beast!!!!
Best evening I had this year...jumped up a buck about 30 yards from my stand @ 5:15,,,had a small doe feed in at 6:10,,,,and had this ole long face nanny come in at 6:30..from time of shot to recovery...hmmmm...about 4.2 seconds,,,, the time it took her to stumble 20-30 yards....

the buck was the first deer I seen,,,,as I walked in, he was laying half-way up the side of this steep hill, we seen each other about the same time,,,I bet I heard him run for 5 minutes down thru that swamp/creek bottom!!!...what a great evening...Randy called and said the deer were all over him too....they were really moving last nite!!!!!

Yea, the deer were all over me Saturday evening also. I started to MUZZYFY a big doe but decided to let her pass. Good thing I did becasue my huntig partner (Slayer) had loaded his deer an left. Now I know who I can not depend on to help me drag one out!!!!!

and I did load it up (by myself) and leave our lease....But what our dear brother, Mr. Randy failed to inform yall about is his response to me when I asked him if he was going to help me drag out my deer if I got one that evening....his response was "heck naw"!!!!! you just drive your 4-wheeler up to it and load it by yourself.....hmmmmmm, I was thinking as I was riding my 4-wheeler back to the parking area, (after I humped outta that bottom, walked 800yards to the 4-wheeler, drove down towards the deer, dragged the deer outta the 12 foot tall briars, wrestled it onto the 4-wheeler)...should I wait and see if Randy got one , and maybe needs my help....HECK NAW!!!!!!!!!!! :shoot:
