And I am not talking about Georgia VS LSU.

was late getting it in, but got my Green Patch planted yesterday. Was somewhat worried about the dryness of the upper soil layer after being thoroughly tilled.

Woke up this morning at 5 AM to the steady patter of slow soaking rain. Checked the Weather Bug to see how extensive the rain might be, and was amazed that find that throughout the entirety of North Ga. there were three tiny green dots about half the size of a pea, and one of these was lying directly over my Green Patch in Eastern Gilmer County. Instead of drifting on, it seems to remain in place where it first appeared.

I realize that some will laugh at the thought of this being anything more than just chance. I happen not to hold to this view. As I believer, it is my firm conviction that God in his goodness often work his wonders thru little things that are wrought by his hands.

I happen to be one of those who look for the hand of God in every event that happens in my midst. Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. 1 Peter 5:7

God so often makes provision for us and we just chalk it up to the luck of the draw. Praise his Holy Name!!

Having met you and your wife, I have no doubts that the good Lord watches over everything you do, and that He blesses you with His presence, as you bless others with yours.

While a little rain over your greens may not be a miracle in some peoples eyes, it is definitely His handiwork.

Mr. Vernon - I was sitting on the porch of some friends cabin, North of Elijay, enjoying that same small storm. I was the only 1 up to enjoy the show at 6:40 this morning. You sure live in a beautiful piece of creation :)

Jeff, next time you are up, give me a call. Would like for you to drop be for a visit, even if brief. Sure love the four seasons as experienced by living in the hills. How sweet it is!!

You can count on it.

My wife, who is much closer friends with the cabin folks, had told me it was North of Blueridge. We were on a ridge over the Elijay River, off White Path Road. I thought about how close we must be to you several times over the weekend.

Amen Vernon. I think God rewards those that put forth the extra effort without knowing the outcome. For sure, that green patch wouldn't have came up had it not been for your effort first. God met you halfway is the way I look at it. :)

Mr.Holt,
I agree with you whole heartedly.Miracles happen everyday,we just live too fast to see them many times.
Didn't know you lived in the mountains.Dang, now I'm jealous.Must be a great place to live.I sure do like to go to the mountains.Seems the air is fresher and everything is better. You are really blessed and I'm sure you already know this.
