Beautiful new Pup in Barnesville

We are proud to introduce you to Christina von Heidbrink... affectionately known as Missy!! She is a beautiful 8 month old GSP and we are proud to be her new family. We want to thank her first family for trusting her to us!

Once she settles in she will begin work toward her Junior Hunter title and get to play with birds a lot :)

Here is a first picture. She wasn't sure what to think of a new home, but she sure did strike a pose for the camera :)

Thank you! Missy is going to the bird field today.... not expecting a lot yet, but it will be fun to see what she thinks of birds and stuff! We have a large horse paddock fenced to the ground, and we let her out in there this am. She had loads of fun playing while we worked! Will be glad when I am comfortable to let her play in the yard without worrying she will run off and get lost. Had that happen once, with disasterous results so now am almost foolish in being careful!

Will post pictures if she points a bird for us :)

Missy did good... was not sure what to think about this bird stuff, but when exposed to a pigeon she thought that was pretty cool! No pointing picture of her yet... but I don't think it will take too long. She sure had a good time out there though!

I do want to share one more thing tho....3 of us have pups from our last litter, TuffDawg and her Remi, Brenda and her Foxy and my Dierk (we call him Dee). It has been a lot of fun to watch those pups, born 3/26/08, progress. At 5 months old, none are still on check cords and all are finding birds readily. I sure am glad that we kept some of these pups close to home and with friends. We are all working together, and Hunt Test season outta be lots of fun this year!

Remi is the dark one, Foxy is the pretty girl with lots of patches (white tail) and Dee is the whiter of the pups (with liver tail) :)

She sure is, on both accounts! She loves to play with the water hose too...lol!
