It's been a while since I've been out camping, and think it's about time to get out, pop up a tent and have a good weekend hiking and poking a fire.
My son likes to camp at Charlie Elliott. Likes hiking and fishing there, and had a great time at the 3D Archery trail.
Camping is on a first come, first serve basis - so it might be kind of hard for a bunch of folks to meet up there - but could be fun.
So - October campout? State park or Charlie Elliott? I know they are doing Creatures of the Night on two separate Fridays in October, so camping spots might be at a premium then. I can check those dates out if anyone is interested.
If we go to a state park, there would be water, electricity and showers. Charlie Elliott is primitive, so that could be an issue (hasn't been for us, but we don't mind smelling ripe).
