How many of you carry a back up handgun while handgun hunting? I usually take my Glock 26 (subcompact 9).

Honestly I have no need.

Honestly I have no need.
I have a scope on the 44 so if I spook something up its difficult to line em up in the scope quickly and take close up shots. The 9mil fits the bill nicely.

Wouldn't kill a deer with a 9mm.. No enough power might be good to kill a yote at close range.

We had a deer my dad shot with a 30-06 that we had to trail with a dog. When we got to it, it jumped and ran a few times. We put I think around 8 9mm in the boiler room before it went down for good.

The back up for my scoped Super Redhawk revolver is a non-scoped Ruger .44 magnum carbine.
