To buy or not to buy - TC G2 6.8REM

I think I can get a lightly used TC G2 Contender pistol (stainless) in 6.8REM for less than $400. Should I go for it?

I bought a Ruger SBH .44 as a close-range pistol and now I want something I can scope for longer range. With having to have a SBH drilled and tapped, I might as well go ahead get something flatter shooting as well.

If you can get it for less than $400, jump on it!

The 6.8 is a good round and will be just the ticket on GA whitetails out to 250-300 yards if you are up to it. It takes a lot of practice but you can do it. Plus, the Contender is a great platform for all sorts of fun.

If you buy it and don't like it, let me know and I can take it off your hands.

I am not familiar with the caliber but that price is outstanding. I would jump on it in a heartbeat.
You can always trade or sell a barrel for a different caliber.
