Fished Wednesday for about an hour on the Yampa and caught this guy. He fought like a 30 incher, took me about 30 minutes to land him. It was dark when I finally landed him but it was worth it.

You know, I read your post and thought," I have fished the yampa, but it aint in GA, its in CO." Then I saw where you are from. Thanks for posting and bringing back memories. The yampa was one of my favorite destinations when I lived near Denver. Great size class of consistently chuncky fish. Thats a studly bow right there. Congrats, and thanks.

Yeah no problem. I hope to have more pics now that I am carrying a camera! I enjoy fishing the Yampa a lot. I have also lived on the White in Meeker and really like that one as well because it hardly gets fished. As a matter of fact I haven't found one I haven't liked.
