Shot my first deer Saturday with my Taurus PT1911. Used a 200 Grain HornadyXTP bullet. Shot through both shoulders at abot 20yds and destroyed both shoulders. I use that load for hogs but should haave known it would waste some meat on a deer. Did the job though short tracking job.
