Mist on the lake

Took this one Saturday morning. I'd planned on sleeping in a little before heading home but it was too cold for sleeping so I got up and took pictures.

Nikon D80 with the kit 18-55mm lens and an aluminum tripod that sucked all the heat out of my fingers in about 20 seconds.

Great early morning shot. Thanks for sharing it.

Might want to get some of the foam pipe insulation and see if you can add it to the tripod so you don't end up stuck to it.

That is sure a pretty picture. Peaceful place, nice composition.
