Ruger Montado Vaquero .45LC

This pistol was one of the first 11 sets that was made as a prototype for Mounted Shooters. I was honored that Ruger allowed me the opportunity to obtain one of these first sets.

It was designed and built with the Mounted Shooter in mind. Montado Vaquero is Spanish for Mounted Cowboy.

Canon Rebel XTi, Tpod, Manual, f18, 3.2 sec shutter, ISO100, 64mm

I've got one that I didnt post with Sam the 110 Pound Labradorks reflection in it.................as usual he was right beside me.
Somehow he always manages to get in the shot

Have you considered making a cheap light box?

This is a photo that I took of my XD with about $2 worth of supplies. Helps with the glare and gives great shadows.

I'm a rookie when it comes to picture taking.
I was wondering how to take these pics without the glare.
Thanks for the info on the light box.
I'll be making one soon.
