Welcome, I have been chasing deer in georgia for more years than some have been alive and I still get fired up about it every year.
The other day I went through my backpack,checking batteries and making sure everything was up to snuff. I then fletched six arrows and glued some broadheads.

I hope I never quit getting excited about getting ready.
