Are you going to head back to Indi at all for some hunting. If so do you know of any good pheasant hunting spots. I will heading to Michigan this fall but wouldn't mind hitting some new spots else where. I moved down to GA from Michigan in January. Seems to be very different hunting down here.

Hunting land access is going the way of dinosaurs here in Ga.. In the coming years I'm planing on moving somewhere that hunting land access is easier , like here 20 years ago .

How can you say that?? Look at the lease forum.. there are a lot of places to hunt.. or are you talking about "FREE"?? I don't see how anyone can even imagin hunting for free anywhere anymore.. maybe out west in a few places,, but no where east of the Mississippi..
There are plenty of lease oppertunities if you look for them..
I leased 214 acres in Taylor county and 764 acres in Stewart county this year....

Apparently you didn't hunt here in NE GA 20 years ago ???? I've always paid to hunt until the past few years ,just miss the good ole days I guess . Back then $500 got you in a club of 1000 ac with7-10 members and it was within 30-40 minutes of home . Now I do in fact hunt several places for free because of the terrible hunter to land ratio in most of the clubs that I can afford to get in . BTW how many members are in your club and what's the price for membership .

no,grew up in s. texas next to king ranch till 18,moved to california went in military 4 years, florida after that always hunted texas or indiana till we moved back up there and now was transferred back down here, did find a nice place in west panhandle of florida for a trophy hunt $600 for 5 days food and lodging included, the hunt club near buena vista(marion hunt club) if as good as they say will join $600 per year plus non-resident lic fees ......what's up w/hunter cert. course born post "61..........up north ask a farmer or help him during planting/harvest time would usually get you some land for free we started to convince the farmers to give up a strip around edges for food plots to keep them out of beans/corn works well farmers loved it saved a few crops
