Would anyone be interested in a NE Georgia Woodys gathering? I know the season is coming up but maybe one day before it gets here? Maybe somewhere around Athens, Hartwell, etc? If we have folks who are interested lets set a date and meet for dinner somewhere. What do yall think?

One of our members owns Booty's fish house in Royston. There is some good eating there. I will let him make the invite. We had a gathering there 3 or 4 months ago with about 20 in attendence.

I'm always up for eatin' and meetin'.........but seein' as how my shift schedule has worked it's way around to weekend nights until September 10, I doubt I'll make it to an eatin' meetin'........unless you want to have it mid-week.

Not sure about others but that was what I was hoping for was a mid week deal. I work EVERY weekend as well, alternating days and nights so weekends are not good for me either. But I am game for anything if it fits!

I need to go to Athens this week to the Red Cross and donate a pint. Maybe a few of us "weekend workers" could meet there, and afterwards go over to Chik-fil-a and partake of a free chicken sammich.

It appears that for many of us the weekends are not good? There is another thread for times/place and it looks like most folks can make it better during the week. I would love to try Booty's, but want to do what's best for all. I am open to any suggestions.

Monday, (tomorrow) at Logans on the Atlanta Highway at 7 pm, just tell them you are with the Woody's group, they have the back room saved for us. See yall there. :cheers:
